How do you plan on counting all the scored elements?

With another game of tons of elements, counting elements in a timely manner is key to running a smooth event. Fast counts and resets will make everyone happy.

Ideas:

  1. clear tubes with a funnel to feed them kind of like a change sorter

  2. A flat tray to make rows of balls easily counted in nice neat rows. A bread carrying tray from a supermarket comes to mind

  1. A box for the overshoot strays to get them back to the field quickly

  2. Backstop nets and something to stop the balls from rolling under the gym bleachers

Any other ideas?

I feel like backstop nets need to be a part of the game bundle package. There are going to be DOZENS of balls flying out of the field. There is no way ref’s will be able to pick them all up as they will go rolling quite far.

If VEX is not including a net, I think they are going to get some pretty bad feedback after a few events have happened…it shouldn’t be the event partners job to construct such nets.

Maybe including a few extra game elements as they will be easily lost would be a good idea too.

I was also thinking a tray which holds exactly 24 balls would be a good investment, just to help the field resetters.

Nets behind the goals would be good, I just worry that they may get in the way of the audience a bit.

On an related note, this game looks fairly easy to set up and take down compared to games past, which is nice.

The field up for sale has 12 bonus balls and 100 normal balls.
That is 2 extra bonus balls and 6 extra normal balls

Events might also need to get some game element kits.
