Gonna need more details. What platform (cortex/V5)? What programming language? What encoder (IME, V5 motor, red quad encoder)?

Oh, sorry we are in a comp right now in a rush. we have V5 and the motor encoder integrated in motor VCS

For VCS and Robot Mesh Studio C++ it should be


vex::motor::resetRotation()

for zero or


vex::motor::setRotation (double value, rotationUnits units)

for an arbitrary value. (For V5 hardware, of course.)
