How do you secure the smaller screws?

I’m trying to use the VEX slider pieces to make a forklift, but the attachments only take a smaller variety of screws than the normal ones. My team has these screws, but none of our nuts are small enough to secure them. Does anyone know which ones I should be using?

If you are talking about the linear slide trucks from the linear motion kit, then you should use the normal 8-32 screws. They will self-tap and cut threads into the plastic trucks. No nuts are required. (They do this to avoid having a nut or machine screw head interfering with the slide.)

Vex never (to the best of my knowledge) sold nuts for the smaller #6 screws used in the EDR system. They were only used to mount old motors, servos, and rack gears.

Actually with V1 I found that the holes are indeed smaller than an 8-32 screw and had to use a drill to widen the holes.
