How Effective is PTO System?

Hello VEX IQ Teams,

Are you using PTO system for Full Volume game? How effective is the system? We would appreciate if you could share your experience.

Our PTO system is supper useful. The speed results are very similar but the amount of resistance required to get our intake to stop with a 4:1 speed ratio is wild. Our intake is basically stationary. I recommend getting one for worlds.

Thank you! Which parts do we need to build a PTO? Is there a sample PTO on the internet that we can get an idea of what it looks like?

imagine having pto. Im too lazy & intake 3 motors [made my elevator 1 motor and torquificationed]

On my Youtube channel theres an example of what a PTO is. However, we’ve got our s down way smaller (using all 24 tooth gears). A prototype can be viewed using this link:

Here is a useful video about motor sharing and PTO. This video goes over how to still build a PTO system even if you don’t have pneumatics.
