How long does it take for the recf to review grant requests

I was just wondering how long does it take the recf to review grant requests, I just put mine in 1 day ago so I was just wondering. Also if any organizations offers grants that would be helpful.

It usually takes a while, since (if ( remember correctly) they have to compare grant requests and choose a few to give money to, not everyone who applies will earn the grant.
They likely will be reviewed by the end of the summer!

Generally, things like this can take a couple weeks (or even longer).

From experience working at University, when any kind of application or form comes in, it goes through a secretary/front office type person who is in charge of figuring out what the form is and where it’s supposed to go. Due to the volume of requests this can take anywhere from 1-3 days.
Following this, someone will review the application and figure out what the next steps are to accept or deny the application. If it’s not urgent, this could take up to a week to get around to doing. People are very busy with their other jobs. After this, they might reach out to you if they need more information or if you missed a section of the application.
Next it might go to a committee review of some sort to make sure that the application meets all the requirements and if the committee only meets once a week, it could take upto a week before they get a chance to review it. Again at this point if they need more information then they might reach out.
Otherwise, after this meeting, if your grant is approved, someone from the committee will probably send an email a couple days after the meeting.

Obviously, I don’t know how RECF actually works, but from other work environments I wouldnt be surprised if the application took any where from 2 weeks to 2 months. I would be very surprised if it took less than 2 weeks.
