We received some good questions via email, and these are also being discussed in the Online Challenges general forum. Remember, if you have a question, please submit it here on the Online Challenges Official Q&A so we can respond and share answers with all teams.
The questions are:
-Is the Website Challenge the only one that is limited to 1 submission per school?
-Is the ‘Photography Challenge’ and ‘Virtual Worlds’ the only ones that allow 1 submission per student?
-Are the rest of the Online challenges limited to 1 submission per team?
And the answers are:
You may enter as many Online Challenges as you wish; however, only one entry per challenge is permitted by the same person (if an individual entry) or team (if a group/team entry). Each team in a multi-team school or club program may submit an entry. For example, teams 123A and 123B could each submit an entry, but team 123A could not submit two entries.
Specifically for the EMC Robotics Team/Club Website Challenge question, it is indeed limited to one submission per school. To quote the Eligibility section of that challenge, “There may only be one website entry per school/organization/club. A website for a single team from a multi-team program will not meet the requirements of this challenge; it must be a website that includes all the teams from the school or club.”
