How many ports do you use and what are they for?

This was last asked in 2008 by @Quazar, and I’m interested to see how things have changed. (His max was 17)

I’m looking for responses in a format like
Total 12 - V5 Brain

  • 6 Motors
  • Vision Sensor
  • 2 Bumper Switches
  • 2 Potentiometer
  • Line Sensor

This is in the V5 forum, but if you are an IQ user put your port counts in, please mark that you have an IQ brain, thanks.

how did you get away with 4 motors for your cu bot

We use 11 total.
8 motors,
2 rotation sensors,
and an inertial sensor
You should always use all 8 motors that you’re allowed to use. If you use 6, use the last two motors on the drivetrain for more power
