How many spots will there be at worlds for MS and HS

Just curious, as looking at different region championships have different amount of teams to the world championship.

800 for HS, 640 for MS I believe. Regional allocations are found in the qualifying criteria document.

If anyone has information, when will the RobotEvents pages for Vex Worlds events publish?

That is usually not stated anywhere, if you qualified for worlds I assume your invite comes whenever it posts. But the dates are already public. What are you looking for?

I was looking for our region because the high school has more than the middle school

I sum the table in Appendix D and the total spots for Vex World 2025 are:

  • V5RC Middle School: 307
  • V5RC High School: 518

That table doesn’t include:

  • Spots currently held back to be allocated in January
  • Spots given out at Signature events
  • Spots for the top 10 HS teams in world skills on March 18

and probably some others categories that I’m not thinking of right now.

Assuming it will be same as the last several years – HS is 10 divisions of ~80 teams each, so ~800 teams total. For MS, 4 of the divisions are used for VEXU and JROTC (2 each), which leaves 6 divisions of ~80 teams each or around ~480 total teams.

(actual numbers may vary slightly, looks like they planned for 82 HS teams and 83 MS teams per division, for a total of 820 and 498 teams, respectively)
