For the dispensers in VEX IQ slapshot does each dispenser have to be used in the provided way?
Can you pull the pushing dispenser out?
Can you tip the tipping dispenser from the front?
I’m going to do my best @kmmohn impersonation here and say that the rules define what you cannot do, or what limitations there are.
If the rules do not explicitly prevent you from doing something, then you are generally free to do it!

And I’m going to continue your @kmmohn impersonation by telling @duck_destroyers to read the Slapshot Game Manual closely for rules forbidding you from releasing dispensers in ways other than expected. To quote page 9 of the game manual…
Obviously, all Teams must adhere to these rules, and any stated intents of these rules. However, beyond that, there is no “right” way to play. There are no hidden restrictions, assumptions, or intended interpretations beyond what is written here. So, it is up to you, the competitor, to find the path through these constraints that best suits your team’s goals and ambitions.

The only extra thing I might have done is ask the question “what rule in the game manual makes you think you can’t pull The Pusher or tip the tipper from the front.”
