Hi, I saw some teams use high strength shafts or other thin materials to make a “fork” like wedge on their bot. How do I install these shafts to the robot?
I would suggest drilling a hole thru the top than mounting it to an angled c-channel.
Drill a whole through the side of the shaft and put a screw through it. If you dont want to do this you can put a screw Ll the way through a hs shaft collar and let the hs shaft colla pivot. This dors take up more room and leafs to the possiblility of the shafy slipping in the shaft collar.
