In need of desperate help! Just found a pneumatics kit. We want to use it for wings for our bot but absolutely no clue where to start. I vaguely understand how it works but can someone explain design and execution thanks.

something like this works. We used it on our old bot. If you don’t have the pneumatics cap thingy, you can use a locker(shaft collar).
This is a good example of vertical wings, which are better than horizontal ones for pushing balls in. However for matches, i would recommend horizontal wings with a poly wedge, so that you can push balls over the barrier when on defense. Just mount a c channel or thic axel like we did with a screw joint onto the front of the bot, and then connect the pneumatics with a shaft collar and screw the pneumatics in. You will need to tune where you put the pneumatics until the wings have a good extension

I dont want my wings to push back pushing triballs, how do i get them to lock??
