how to get autodesk inventor for free?

I lost the code… what now…:o:o:(:(:frowning:

http://students.autodesk.com Create an account, download software for free. If you’re running a computer a few years old, go for 2012 or 2013. If you’re running what most of us would consider a good computer, you can get whatever you want.

P.S. While we’re on the topic of free software, you can also get a bunch of free normally-paid development tools from Microsoft.

Inventor or autocad?

What about school url?

Inventor

Just put your school’s website address in there.

Put in all your right information so that you can get a key. (ex. don’t make up a fake name, change your birthday or school)

I know that Longarmx just replied, but I’d like to add a few things.

Yes. You can download pretty much anything Autodesk makes.

As Longarmx said, don’t make things up. If Autodesk decides you need to verify that you are truly a student, you’ll want all of your information to be correct. I never had to verify beyond agreeing “yes, I’m a student. If I’m not, I’ll get in trouble.”

I got 2014 cause 2015 wont work and when I click to open it says error (0xc0000152) the application was unable to start correctly. :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: Help!!!

By the way i’m running windows 8 64 bit on parallels.
