I tried doing a double arm lift by copying the basic Clawbot lift and doubling it, when all plugged up the gears no matter how I tried The arms wouldn’t be flush with the other. Can someone please explain why? This year is my first year of vex and I’m the builder and driver my team is 35884A. Any help is very much appreciated, thank you!

You need to shift the gears by a couple teeth one side of the dr4b. So remove anything holding the gears together and shift the top arm/gear until they are all aligned.
One of the gears will need to be oriented 45 degrees for the teeth to align properly.
You should make sure that the lower arms of the dr4b are aligned first. Then you can see how badly the upper arms are misaligned. To fix the misalignment, I like to first position the lower arms so they are horizontal to the chassis and prop it up that way (unless you have the motor on “brake type: hold” in your code). Then move the gears out of alignment and position the upper arms so that they are parallel to the lower arms and slip the gears back into alignment. Now your dr4b’s arms should be perfectly aligned.
