How to increase the drivetrain velocity on VEX V5

Our robot seems to be running slowly on the field. We have a four motor drivetrain. We originally had all green cartridges in the motors. We only have two blue cartridges. So we placed them in the front two motors. I have attached our program. We are thinking that we maybe the velocity is programmed incorrectly



. Can you take a look and suggest any new ideas that we can try?

i you wouldnt mind sending a picutre of your drive going around the feild that could help us identify the problem easier perhaps. especially if it is physical. If its going slow in auton and its not supposed to its cuz u have drive velocity set to 50

If you are using mixed blue and green cartridges, that is probably why due to that all the motors will overheat very fast in that situation as the motors are fighting against each other because they are running at different speeds. If you have only green cartridges for all the motors i suggest gearing up the drivetrain to favor speed which seems what you guys are going for. The code looks good so nothings wrong with that!

We switched back to all green cartridges. It’s still running slow.

We recorded our robot on the field and tried to upload it. (Mp4) It wouldn’t let me, said it wasn’t the correct format.

If its still running slow, it might just be the gear ratio of the motors to the wheels. Keep in mind your autonomous is also only using 50% velocity.
