How to make a straight line function using vex code blocks without encoders

Hey guys, I’m trying to make a drive straight function in blocks . I know how to make it drive forward but don’t know how to make it correct it’s self when it veers off the line that it’s following. I’m also doing it with out encoders for the sake of simplicity. Can someone please help me

You need encoders to do this. Rotations has issues where if all the wheels aren’t rotating the same amount every time then it won’t work.
I suppose you could use the motor encoders and do PID/driving straight from that. Would be less accurate and just using 2 encoders would be much better.
