This is my team’s first year using a digital notebook. I am just trying to figure out how we would give it to the judges. Are we supposed to print them and hand them a paper copy, send them the file somehow, or does it just depend on the event?
It depends on the event
As @Joeboticswastaken said, it depends on the event. You can find that data under “General Info” and/or “Judging Format” For example, in the Applied Tech Classic VEX V5 Robotics Competition Tournament in Arizona, the Judging Format section says:
Here, you would print out your digital notebook for the judges.
It looks like every event in the Arizona region has in-person judging, so you should print out your notebook as stated before. Good luck!
If an event is accepting digital submission, there is a spot in your robot events account where you put the link
In order to find the judging format go to robot events and find the judging tab. Ex:
If the event is digital notebook submission, follow this guide: https://v5rc-kb.recf.org/hc/en-us/articles/9662615886487-How-to-Submit-a-Digital-Engineering-Notebook
If it is physical, most teams will print it out and stick it in a 3 rings binder but there is no official restriction.
Okay thanks you guys looked and found it was just turn it in in person.
