How to use non vex sensors (Humidity and air quality)

My goal at the end of this is to create a robot that drives to a specific location using the vision sensor.

I just want to make sure you know that V5 vision sensor does not let you process raw image data on V5 brain at the moment. It works by taking signatures of the desired (color) codes for the objects you are looking for and then returns an array of coordinates for several easily recognized (large) objects matching those codes:

From my experience, the vision sensor is actually pretty decent when looking at objects on the field. Yes lighting changes mess up the colors, but you can recalibrate them easily and it generally doesn’t break between fields in the same tournament. I have briefly tested with the cubes in different lighting and it seems like it’ll work acceptably.

Anything without the grey background of the field, however, is probably not going to work consistently. (This mostly comes from my experience with flags last year, I guess it could be different this year, but I wouldn’t bet on it)

tl;dr it’ll work pretty well for finding cubes on the field, but if you’re looking anywhere else you’re gonna have a bad time
