I am programming a 6 motor drive train and the wheels are 2.75 inches in diameter. How much do the wheels need to turn in order for it to go 1 inch

The constant pi (3.14159) times the diameter will give you the circumference of the wheel. Divide that into the distance you want to go and that gives you the rotations.

I think you got it right, what’s the problem?

Math

2.75 in. diameter wheels means 2.75pi or approx. 8.6394
1 revolution goes 8.6394 in.
To go one inch, spin wheel approx. 0.115748779 turns/revolutions or approx. 41.6695604 degrees
