We did not see a 9 V battery pack in our V5 kit. I have one for EDR, but I have two teams without the actual plastice piece the battery goes into. Is there anything we can do to replace the plastic encasing for the battery?

You are not supposed to use, or should be able to use, the 9v backup battery with V5.
