I have a V5 controller that will pair and start a program... But then nothing works

I have a funny V5 controller. I will pair it to the brain, start a program and I can verify on the brain the the program is running. But then when I try to drive the bot none of the buttons or joysticks work.

Then I pair a different controller and it works.

This has been done with more than one bot. Any thoughts?

Are your motors plugged in?

Like I said, on the same bot, this controller won’t work… I pair another controller… It will work.
