I need help with drive base designs

My team and I have hit a wall, we are having a hard time finding suitable drive base designs for our upcoming robot. Anything would be helpful.

4 omnis is all you’ll need for this game

As well as base that rides as low to the ground a necessary for better center of gravity.

I’d say go with a standard four wheel omni tank drive. If you’re a good driver, try using a harmonic drive. Both should be as low to the ground as possible. Good luck!

Before you start calling them harmonic drives, it’s holonomic. I’ll just assume that’s auto-correct. I personally am making an x drive which you should be able to make with a little experience. The strafing should be pretty useful this year for picking up the scattered game pieces as well as maneuvering through them. Here is a link to a good video about them: X Drive Cad File

I’ve talked a lot with people who are interested in strafing. I generally side with whatever design is simpler (catas, single punchers, itz chain bars, etc.), which makes me dislike holonomics by default. However, I would recommend against them also because it means less space for your robot, and the fastest path from point A to B is a straight line.
