My elevator isn’t working properly, and I would appreciate any tips on how I could potentially get it to work. Im not sure if it’s a coding issue or a building issue. (Maybe both?) However, the platform is a little unstable in terms that it moves a lot when going up. As well as when I try to run my code one motor is going more up than the others causing the whole project to fail.
do you have videos of it runing to give us a better idea?
Why was this posted in VEX IQ General discussion? This appears to be related to V5!
For the issue with the motors spinning unevenly causing the mechanism to fail, you can use gears connecting the gears you are using as the lifting mechanism. I know my wording is a bit confusing, so here is a rough sketch:
If you proceed to connect the sides with gears make sure that the motors don’t try to oppose each-other. You can also link the connecting gears with an axle so both sides are also spinning at the same speed.

If you mean that the platform wobbles a lot when the mechanism is in use, you can stabilize it like this:
The supports would be on all corners and of somewhat equal size (the sketch is just the concept).
Hope this helps!
Oh my bad let me do that now.
