I want to learn more about the Vex IQ clawbot.

I am new to robot building. I got the Vex IQ super kit at the beginning of the month, and I have built the Clawbot, the Clawbot with sensors, and the autopilot robot. They all worked, but I am interested in learning more about the how the sensors work in these builds and also the programming so I can increase my engineering knowledge. Are there any documents available on this? Also, can anyone tell me about the functional capabilities of the Clawbot with sensors? The clawbot without sensors is awesome, but adding the sensors seems to make it more difficult to control without any added benefits.

Glad to hear you are enjoying Vex IQ! Here are a couple links that might help:

The sensors with clawbot are mostly to demonstrate the capabilities, see the manual and the “autopilot” mode. For remote control, the sensors really just get into way (due to demo features), unless you write your own teleop-mode application that would benefit from the sensor usage somehow (like, for example, having gyro or color sensor augmented straigth-line driving mode)
