@reeved
This person uploaded their notebook to Vexforum and our team read over it and used many of their tips. Thanks a billion! We owe you credit to an Excellence Award and a Judges award at Regionals It was our first year and hard getting on our feet. Speaking of credit, what is reeved’s team name? I would like to add citations to our notebook. Because this was such a staple in our research, I think this is a key factor to add to our citations. Again, thanks so much @reeved !
I would assume 2915A was the team, I think they are Lynfield College Robotics from Auckland, New Zealand.
The author has not been on the forum for 5 years, unlikely they will respond.
Hi @vexalted!
I’m glad that posted has been helpful to teams and is relevant even after almost 10 (wow) years
@jpearman is correct. In that post, I shared the Engineering Notebook from team 2915A, Lynfield College Robotics.
Getting those awards in your first year in VEX is a great achievement, your team should be proud of yourselves! Hope you find more successes in the future as well
Just a bit of history - 2915A is a legendary team. Especially Jack Barker that started the team (I think), think he won everything in worlds (including his time in VEXU), tournament champ, excellence award, design award, skills champ, etc.
FYI - he is now into battlebots (End Game).
