Idea: 6-motor Lynfield drivetrain

My idea for the 6-motor Lynfield is to have a 4 omni-wheel tank drive with 2 omni-wheels perpendicular to the tank drive in the back for strafing. 4 motors power the tank drive and 2 motors power the strafing wheels. Basically the original but with 2 extra motors and 2 extra wheels, all for forwards movement.
With good programming and/or driving, could it be a viable alternative to the H-drive?

Strafing isn’t worth it. Add the motors towards the tank drive system. That way you’ll have more power when fighting in corners and pinning other bots.

Maybe Asterisk drive?
Maybe X-drive with one 11w motor and one 5.5w motor for each wheel?
idk why I’m thinking about holonomic drivetrains. btw fighting in corners is kind of High-Stakes specific; I was talking generally

Pinning and overpowering robots are part of every competition. Also x drives are too hard to control and don’t work well with conveyors.
