If your brain is on the bottom of your robot, does that count as easily accessible or no because you have to flip the robot over?

This is where we want to put the brain.

As Head Referee, I can’t help you in matches if robot glitches and I can not see display.

So not good placement.

Covered in robot rule R26

Just as a general tip, “easily accessible” means you can access the brain without moving any part of the robot (flipping it, moving an arm out of the way, etc.).

Since you have to move your robot to access the brain, it is not “easily accessible”

No. Are you really asking if a brain that is under the robot with the display facing the floor is accessible?

In addition to what Iacsap said, it is technically accessible like you said if you flip the robot over - that being said, is it accessible to the referee and yourself if issues arise? That is a good question to ask yourself.

You should not pass inspection.

The rule does state the reason for the rule, but it does not say that you can violate the rule and waive the protection. You simply should follow the rule.
