Image Non-Pixelization :D

Hey guys. Here is the image: Green_Biohazard.png (2) | Team 323Z | Flickr

How do I make the edges of the image “non-pixely?”? I want a smooth round edge. Can you guys tell me how to do that, or do it for me? I need a transparent background if you do it. I am using gimp.

Thanks!

I am assuming that anti-aliasing is what you want. I believe that Gimp can do this for you. Check out this tutorial: HTML Menu Designer

**Edit: **That tutorial will likely give you better results.

Perfect. Thank you guys!

You should search for a vector format of this image image. These images use lines and shapes rather than pixels to create images therefore there is no pixelisation no matter how large or small you scale the image. You can also convert this image to a vector with adobe illustrator.

Design the image as a vector art for scaling, rasterizer it with AA and save it as a PNG 24.

Also Adobe Creative Cloud subscription for students is super cheap, you should check it out.
