IME limit

I noticed that when you set a motor to a specific IME (Intergrated Motor Encoder) you can set it to I2C_1 to I2C_8. Why is this? Are you limited to 8 IME’s? This is a bit important to our next robot.

Yes, 8 IME limit.

So why is this?

Mostly because of the daisy chain nature of the cables (although it might have been better to set the limit at 10).

ok, well we have already figured out how to avoid using shaft encoders (I have had terrible experience with one), Using a servo and a gyro.
