Im new to vex edr and i was wondering if an inertial sensor worked like a gyro in iq, in the sense that it can auto correct without any special coding eg PID. I know pid is needed, but for the time being i was just wondering if an inertial sensor can autocorrect
You are going to need to program what you want. This KB article https://kb.vex.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037382272-Using-the-V5-Inertial-Sensor will give you some insight.
There are a number of examples of how to use the sensor depending on the programming. Iād suggest the block language as an easy place to start.
