Someone who has more experience with PROS for V5 will have to help you. I haven’t used PROS since the Cortex days, so I don’t really know how c_cpp_properties.json should be configured nowadays.

vs code should give you a notification bubble asking whether you want to use the compile_commands.json file to configure intellisense, which you should agree to
