Is using the silver part from a vex trophy legal for an intake?
This was a tricky one, and I will give you the benefit of the doubt that you read the game manual because I didn’t see it my first read through and I knew what rule I was looking for.
Rule R6 has a red box at the bottom of the rule that states, " Using VEX apparel, competition support materials, packaging, or other non-Robot products on a VEX Robotics Competition Robot goes against the spirit of this rule and is not permitted."
So no, you may not use the trophy as a building component of your robot.

You can only use vex trophies as decoration on your robot. Its very sad I wish they would change it.
