Interacting With The Central Row In Auton

I have a few questions regarding interactions with the central row of goals during autonomous. These questions ideally would be asked in a q&a, but I don’t have the ability to post q&a’s, so I thought I’d bring these issues to attention.

  1. Is it legal to score a ball that doesn’t start on the auton line in one of the central goals?

<sg2> says that:

The three (3) Goals contacting the Autonomous Line are not considered to be on either side,
and may be utilized by either Alliance during the Autonomous Period.

but <sg3> states:

Balls that start fully on one side of the Autonomous
Line may not contact the foam tiles on the opposite side of the Autonomous Line during the Autonomous Period.

If you score a ball in one of the goals that contact the auton line, that ball can be touching either side of the line, depending on which way it lands. So if the ball that you score didn’t start on the auton line and it lands on the opponents side of the line inside the goal, does it violate sg3, or is sg3 overrules by sg2, which states robots from both alliances can use the central goals?

  1. can you block an opponent from scoring in the central row of goals during auton. lets say a tray lift raises their lift and rests it on top of the center goal. then the opponent tries to score, but since the tray is there, the ball doesn’t go into the goal. essentially, the tray has interfered with the opponents auton.

<sg2> states that

During the Autonomous Period, Robots may not contact the
foam tiles or Balls which are on the opposing Alliance’s side of the Autonomous Line.

if the ball that the tray has deflected started on the opposing side of the auton line, would this be a violation of sg2, or again, would this overrule that?

The three (3) Goals contacting the Autonomous Line are not considered to be on either side,
and may be utilized by either Alliance during the Autonomous Period.

if anyone has the ability to post these questions in the q&a, that would be appreciated, and also if anyone has any insight into the correct way to interpret these scenarios that would be good also.

It would most certainly not be illegal because of the note under <G14>

<G3> should be used when enforcing this rule. In most cases, if a Robot causes their opponent to break a rule, the referee will simply not enforce the penalty on that opponent
