I have a question about skills…
My team is working on a shooter and we’re wondering if we were allowed to just attach it for our skills games, but take it off of the robot for our matches during the competition, and put on a different pre-built component on the robot instead. Or is that not allowed?
The game manual addresses what is allowed, here’s a link: https://www.vexrobotics.com/full-volume-manual As you read the game manual, keep in mind that the manual cannot tell you everything you might do, nor does it discuss any particular strategies.
In regards to your question, this is addressed in rule R3. Feel free to post again if this doesn’t answer your question, or give you the guidelines you need.
Going off of your previous posts, it seems that you are in VRC, not VIQ. If so, please categorize your posts correctly, and if not, oopsie srry.
Assuming that you are in VRC, yes you are are allowed to being multiple sets of subsystem 3.
However, you are going to have to pass quite a few inspections.
Assuming you are a VRC competitor (and I’m just going off of @Gigahertz.t’s word), don’t bring multiples of subsystem 3. It’ll take time to switch them out and there’s not too much downtime during competitions. Just don’t do it, it’s not worth the effort
For VRC, the game manual is here: VRC Over Under Game Manual - VEX Robotics
Still rule R3 that you need to review…
Sorry, i am in VRC. My mistake.
