Recently our robotics club purchased batteries and a charger, which is currently in the mail, on route to Canada. One thing we noticed was the use of premium shipping companies such as UPS.
There is one issue with this shipping. UPS, Fedex and other premium companies not only charge the required customs, but also rediculous fees on top for the paperwork. Although we can clear the packages through customs by ourselves, it is a teduious process. One thing I am suggesting to benefit International robotics teams outside the USA is to add as USPS shipping option, which although is slower, we the teams are not victims of a rediculous charge by premium shipping companies.
