I am happy to introduce the creation and launch of the news channel, VNN ( VEX NEWS NETWORK). This new news channel’s goal is to cover all different kinds of teams and see robotics from all perspectives. This news channel is not meant to be a competitor to FUN.
Keep watching this feed for more updates and our first video!
Awesome! Is this something inside your organization or do you have a network? Are you gonna go to tourneys outside of MN?
I’m not sure yet
We are still getting everything set up.
You could ask other teams to send in videos from their comps so everything is centralised on one channel instead of a hundred. Would also allow viewers to see the comp from multiple team’s perspectives.
Hello!
As some of you people know, I will be starting VNN soon.
Just wanted to see if anyone had any intrestingVEX stories to share with us!
Please describe in detail.
I am VERY excited to announce that the first broadcast of VNN will launched on December 21st, 2023, at 6:00 pm US Central (GMT - 6, so 12:00 am GMT.)
This a reminder that if you do have any interesting VEX stories, please share them with us!
@MankatoMNRobotics I am very excited for this to be starting. I am a little confused about what you will be covering would this be like an ESPN (excuse the poor analogy) of robotics covering the top teams, tournaments, and upcoming teams? Or will it be more like an overall Vex News Network with more coverage of building and programming, and how things work? Hope this makes sense let me know if you need clarification.
Basically all of what you just said.
Hey @MankatoMNRobotics something cool to do is if you could somehow get interviews with world finalist or semifinalist from passed years and have them tell us about how they made it, what were important factors, and such.
Update:
We may be releasing the first broadcast as a podcast ( very unlikely )
VNN’s first broadcast has been delayed indefinitely.
im internally devastated
Update: VNN is set to be released somewhere around Christmas time, expect our wonderful first broadcast then!
We will be covering the Minnesota State University Tournament in Mankato, MN, that my team is attending. We will release exclusive broadcast of robots and teams!
