How do I fix it? Not sure how it happened: a student just showed me after he had been using the Brain successfully.
Help. Thanks.

Connect the V5 brain to a PC using a USB cable and have VEXcode reinstall the firmware.
If when I plug the Brain in to the computer and VEXcode doesn’t recognize that the Brain’s plugged in, how do I “reinstall the firmware”.
Thanks for the clarification on how to do this (first-timer).
V5 brain firmware needs to be installed using a direct USB connection, if the PC doesn’t recognize the brain, usually it’s due to damaged brain USB connector or bad (perhaps charging only) USB cable.
The “bad assets” screen usually happens if a firmware update was attempted and failed for some reason.
Thanks for the clarification! I’ll keep trying.
