Is back-EMF feedback for the 2 wire motor controllers possible on the cortex??

Hey,

I am just wondering if the cortex has back-EMF feedback for the 2 wire motor ports 1 and 10? and if so, is there any way to use this feature to give position/speed of the motor with EasyC?

I know this is possible with the 2 wire motor ports on the ARM9 VEXPro, and is very useful as it frees up the need for shaft encoders.

This feature is not currently supported by the firmware of the Cortex controller and therefore it is not supported in easyC. When this feature is available for the Cortex, we will update easyC. Hope this helps.
