Due to the need for more stable transmission and the conveyor, our team started to use timing belts to avoid the fracture of the chain.But there comes a problem that we didn’t use the official timing belt parts for our specific size in our design. We bought unofficial belts and processed ourselves then applying to the robot. But we are worry about the robot won’t get PASSED in the check. So I come here to ask if there were any team used self-processed unoffical belts before in the World Championship.

VUR5 example 4 explicitly prohibits using COTS belts. I’d either use a vexpro belt, or just use chain.
