Could anyone help me find if the spin-up manual goes over if adhesives like ranch sauce would be legal to use on the motors?
ranch sauce is legal because it is a non-aerosol based lubricant.
As long as you don’t intend to eat the motors - it is going to pass as legal nonfunctional decoration.
The pressing question is can I use Ranch in the end games? Similar to the ways people are squirting out string to cover floor tiles, can I “release” ranch at a high velocity to touch as many floor tiles as possible?
I’ve looked at the rules and it seems to state that the string, or in this case ranch must be connected to the robot. I’ve done some experiments with the packet Hidden Vally Ranch mix, varying the amount of buttermilk with additional sour cream. Testing shows that a 76% to 34% ratio of butter milk to sour cream (Costco brand for teams that want to duplicate the data) was the best. It created an almost ropey mixture.
Before starting a second wave of testing with temperatures as the next variable, I’d also see thoughts on the legality.

When reading through this your numbers don’t work. You said a 76% to 34% ratio. That adds up 110%. It should be 66 to 34 or 76 to 24.
Awsome, fact check on a satire post. You are 100% correct, should have been 76% to 24%, Thanks for following up.

Don’t you mean 110% correct?
According to R7b, any non-aerosol-based grease or lubricating compound, when used in extreme moderation on surfaces and locations that do NOT contact the playing field walls, foam field surface, Discs, or other Robots are allowed.
