We got several 12X12 plates with a cross in the middle from last year’s Slapshot fence. The part number is 228-3616-205. They seem useful as replacements for the typical 12X12 plate, instead of being through away. I am wondering if is it legal to use them as parts for a full-volume robot. I did not see them in the legal or illegal file. Hope to get clarification as an official answer.
Yes. When i did iq i used that same pice everysingle year. It is legal. They also used to be on the crossover feilds.
They are on page 7 of the legal parts list.

Search 12x12 in the legal parts or look at page 7. It’s there just under a different part number but looks the same.
I would still get confirmation from someone like jpearman but if it looks the exact same as the part in the legal list I don’t think a ref is going to penalise you.

228-2500-205 is the same part (the middle 4 digits are the color code for the part) and is in the legal part index.
