My autodesk inventor library uses sketches to make connecting parts such as bearing blocks to metal parts eaiser, however, i suspect this is what’s causing my crappy framerate. Here’s an example of what I mean. crappy laptop rendering :/ - YouTube How do I make this run faster?
I-mates
how do thing?
Here’s a link to the library i use (24C’s).
Here you go
It has i mates on most parts but some, like the 1X3 c-channel are missing them.
Let me know if you need help with how to use the i mates: )
I’m also a beginner with the whole iMate concept. My students currently use Inventor but as far as I can tell iMate is a particular type of file? Am I missing something? I have the regular file library but I don’t think they are “iMate files”. Where can I find the entire library? I’m sure this is in a lot of places on the forum but they all seem to be older posts and I want to make sure I have a complete and current set of parts. We run Inventor 2016. I do have 2014 as well on a few machines. Thanks!
There are a few videos people have made for the online design challenges over the years.
Subscribe to this guys videos. There are more than these two. But here are the starting elements of imates
Here is some more advanced imate stuff but not vex parts.
Thanks
