VEX IQ intake needs to be faster and we think we have maximized gear train, etc it but if you guys have any pointers we would love them
First off, welcome to the forum! Secondly, here’s a few tips that I can give
1: Use 40 tooth sprockets as your rollers running a 4:1 gear ratio (32 tooth driving an 8 tooth)
2: Have proper spacing. Use washers and spacers to properly space out rollers from the support beams. Your goal is to minimize the amount of friction by having good spacing.
3: If not obvious, use a 2 motor intake if materials permit.

Have you considered changing the sprocket sizes? I’m assuming you are building this years hero bot.
Little on the front, bigger back at the drive point.
