Is this a rule breaker or a game changer?!?

I would DQ and Disable your robot under:

<S1> If at any time the Robot operation or Team actions are deemed unsafe or have damaged the Field Elements or Cubes, the offending Team may be Disabled and/or Disqualified at the discretion of the referees. The Robot will require re-inspection before it may again take the field.

Don’t do it.

[that was easy!]

It doesn’t seem like the tower was tightened correctly, it shouldn’t happen as easily as in the video

Seems legit, I do not see any circumstance in which this would warrent a dq

How would this not be damage to the field?

It’s not damaging the field, it’s just disassembling it
Less work for the ep when the day is over

I would say it is more of a … tower breaker.

But yes, this would result in a DQ

I guess you could say… Tower Breakover

that would be a rule breaker because you are technically destroying the field.

Or is it both?

Were the parts for the tower tightened properly?

I would immediately and without hesitation, issue a DQ and disablement because it would be damage to the field. I would then insist you be given the Excellence award for great (illegal) tactics.

If you think I am crazy

I’m kidding by the way

This was my first thought as well. It looks like the tower was assembled without the tightening clamps on both ends or not fully secured.

Looks like someone didnt do a good job setting up the field lmao
