Volunteers Needed 2015 VEX Robotics World Championship!
This is the perfect time to encourage friends and family to get involved as a volunteer at a local event or even at the 2015 VEX Robotics World Championship in Louisville, Kentucky, on April 15-18. The VEX Robotics World Championship is a thrilling 4-day event that celebrates robotics engineering excellence and welcomes students from nearly 30 countries and 800 teams. If you’re interested in learning more, please visit the Volunteer Management System or contact Martha Proulx.

Sponsor Spotlight: Texas Instruments
Perhaps you’ve wondered, as we have, “What makes the VEX IQ Robot Brain so smart?” The answer is simple: the Texas Instruments Tiva microcontroller. This robot brain simultaneously and wirelessly communicates with the controller, talks to 12 devices on the Smart Ports, updates the LCD, and has time left over to run the students’ programs with a custom built operating system developed just for VEX IQ. So we get technology that works together to make a Robot Brain that is simple, flexible, and powerful. Texas Instruments also generously provides two scholarships per year open to high school seniors intent on pursuing a STEM-related field in college. Learn more and apply today!
