Jumpers on V5

So im working with a team and when i was doing comp we used a jumper in a digital port on the cortex stuff is it safe to use a jumper on one of the v5 pins to do the same concept? granted its just a digital or analog sensor basically?

I was told on this thread:

That jumpers can be used. We have not tried it yet - but they should work on the legacy ports.

Yes, it’s just a digital sensor.

If you think about what a button does electrically, a jumper does the same thing except it’s “always pressed”

So you would just set it up as a bump switch and you program an auton for pressed and not pressed

It’s just a digital input, that will always read HIGH or pressed.
