Student Led Robotics Team Raises $5,000 Online

Laura Mahon, a senior at East Chapel Hill High School, is in charge of her robotics team along with three other team officers. One of her many responsibilities is to ensure that the team has enough funding to buy parts and travel to competitions. She has tried a lot of different fundraising methods from obtaining business sponsors to writing grants, but she has recently found one she plans on sticking with; Edco.

Edco is an online fundraising platform that is built for K-12 education. Laura was prompted to look into Edco after hearing good things about it from a fellow robotics team! Learn More: Robotics Team Raises Funds

Thank you

Registration opened in May. The June Newsletter goes out to all the teams in the program via email and is posted again here in the Forum. This is simply a reminder to any teams who haven’t yet registered to consider doing so now. If you already did, then you’re all set. Enjoy the summer!
