My robot has a box tray with three stages and has flip-out intakes. I was wondering how to keep this held into the robot without it flipping out before the match. RIght now, I have a bunch of anti-slip mat at the end of the tray which is very jank and we are hoping to get a better solution. Thank you!
With proper hinges and rubberband placement, the trays when folded in should stay in place from the bands. Try sending some pictures of your robot.
The tray should fold in on itself if you are using 2 45 degree gussets, and you lift it with the arms of your complex tray, if you don’t have this option you could fold it in an L shape and use your intake to stop it from flipping out.
