Legality of Colored Ink in the Notebook

I’ve heard that black/blue ink are the only allowed colors in the Engineering Notebook. However, upon reading the Judge’s Guide, I did not find anything regarding black/blue inks. Is there something that I didn’t read or is colored ink allowed in the notebook?

Make sure it is legible color (sufficient contrast - so using a faded yellow, yuck!) and it should not be erasable.

and do note, there are significant number of people who are color blind in one form or another.

I agree with @lacsap, however, color can be a good thing when distinguishing between certain subjects in the notebook. Many judges like it when the notebook is filled with color.

If you’re looking for color contrast, an alternative could just be to highlight section headings/important details. That way you don’t have to keep track of multiple pens.
