License plate confirmation

Going by R10, sub d., would this be allowed?

Personally, I would fail it at inspection because the typeface is difficult to parse the team number, so if all the other teams in the organization are using same design - can not distinguish the teams.

I highly recommend to not go fancy on license plates - save that decorative flair for elsewhere on your robot.

The final call will be up to the head referee, and the call might be different at every event. You’re certainly welcome to try, but keep a conventional set of plates on-hand in case the head referee doesn’t find them to be easily legible.

You should verify that the plates are “clearly legible” by placing them on your robot and then placing it on a field and seeing if you can easily read it. Try to see if you can have a teammate or someone else try to read the plate and tell you if they can read the team number. If not, you can likely make the logo on the front larger.

More than likely this would be allowed although your letters do seem a bit small. I would just follow the note on r10 and make sure you bring standard vex plates as backup just in case.
