On the virtual worlds challenge, you are able to use a “vex launchbot” that has an arm that can extend beyond the 18x18x18 limit, but I couldn’t find in either the appendix c or nothing but net book about extending beyond the 18" height. Does anyone know if it is legal? Thanks!

this would only be legal during the last 30 seconds of the match (skills included). However, there’s no way to get a lifting bonus during skills, so expanding above 18 inches in height probably wouldn’t be all that useful.
